"I originally bought this jumpsuit in a size 20, then exchanged it for a size 16 when the 20 was too big. It probably would have been workable at a 20, but because of the way the back of the jumpsuit has to be constructed with a button closure at the neck and some excess fabric below that to ensure you can comfortably pull the waistband over your hips, there was simply too much excess fabric there for me to not exchange it when I was already exchanging a different piece from the same order (already paying one lot of $10.99 handling fee). The newer, size 16 still has a little excess fabric around the lower back area, especially if you tie the waist tie and then scoot all the gathering at the waist to the back of the waistline so the front lays flat, but it's definitely workable, at least for me. When I tried on the size 20, the hem of the pants was way too long (which is to be expected, even with a cropped length, because I'm only 5'1 1/2"), but when I tried on the size 16, they're only maybe an inch longer than my ankle, so if you're around my height, these might be an option that you're not going to need to hem, especially if you plan to wear it with heels. I think this is a nice piece, the fabric is thin but not cheap feeling, but I will say that I was wearing it all of ten minutes to try it on and I did get a little sweaty, which made the fabric cling to my skin (it was only about 20-22 degrees in my house), so maybe be aware of that if you plan on wearing this in hotter weather. The top of the jumpsuit also sort of clings to the very top of my chest in a slightly odd way, considering that the fit isn't tight there (I can pull it away from my skin and there's a few inches of space), and that is the smallest part of my chest. I wouldn't say it's unflattering, but it was the second thing my mother commented on when I showed her, after 'Wow, you look nice!' and before 'You remind me of me when I was younger', so... Also, for reference, most of the other clothing I bought from You and All fits me in either a 16 or an 18, and for a 16, this jumpsuit probably fits more like I would expect an 18 to, both in the top part and the bottom part of the jumpsuit. The one thing I will say is that the crotch of the bottoms is a little high (only about an inch from giving me a wedgie), which is a common problem I encounter with jumpsuits/rompers (pretty sure I have a long torso). This probably means that this jumpsuit actually has more room than most jumpsuits that are meant to fit snugly in that area, but less room than those that are meant to have a lot of room there. I also think if were a little higher in that area, you might be able to pull the top of the jumpsuit down a bit to give yourself more room in the crotch, depending on your chest situation (I fit a bra size 20D for reference, which is a 46 inch overbust measurement), though that might make the waistband sit below your natural waist. Overall, I like this jumpsuit, and it's a nice, simple but elegant option that will fit nicely in my suitcase."
